Kanye West’s Paparazzi Case Dismissed

October 24, 2009

After a couple of rough months that found him getting massive flack for interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMAs and canceling his tour with Lady Gaga, Kanye West got some very good news on Friday. Though he was not present for the ruling, West caught a break when a Los Angeles court commissioner dismissed all three misdemeanor charges against the rapper in connection with a scuffle with paparazzi at the Los Angeles International Airport in September 2008.

Video: Kanye West Speaks With Jay Leno / Performs with Jay-Z & Rihanna

September 15, 2009

Okay, so Kanye had another moment of madness. Let’s face it, some of these artists just can’t handle the prime time business and from what i saw whilst watching the VMA’s, Kanye enjoyed his bottle of Hennesey. Here’s a brief interview he had with Jay Leno the day after:

I understand that his mama died and for anyone’s that close to their parents, it’s enough to break them completely. So im not gonna report too much on that note. However, im not completely sold by it being completely spontaneous. I still think everything we see on MTV and at these shows is planned and if captain naive and his army of sheep choose to say otherwise you can email me at

Here’s the three musketeers performing Run This Town on the show also:

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Calling all students! Have you ever wanted to appear on the No.1 music channel MTV? Well now’s your chance.

Edge, an independent education foundation, is calling on students to start an education revolution. The charity wants you to have your voice heard by uploading a video on what you feel needs to change in schools, along with subjects you would most like to study. The winning videos will then be screened on the hit music channel.

So, how does it work?
If you are 16 or over than simply film your views on education and upload it to a video site such as YouTube or MTV Flux, with the title beginning EdgesRevolution, followed by your name. Secondly all videos must be tagged with EdgesRevolution, otherwise you might not be entered.

What should you discuss in your video?
1. If you could’ve chosen a subject that would have helped you fulfil your talent – it can be anything, not just a ‘normal’ school subject – what would that subject have been and why? E.g.; Film/photography/criminology
2. If you could send a message to politicians asking them to change the education system in any way, what would it be?
3. Young people seeing this are facing some big, life-changing decisions, Edge’s mission is to encourage them to realise there are many paths to success in life. What does ‘many paths to success’ mean to you, personally?
4. Do you have a message for other young people about ‘many paths to success’?

Once you’ve uploaded your video, tell your mates about it and make sure they watch it, as the video with the most views wins. It’s that simple!! The winning videos will then be screened daily for everyone to see on MTV from Monday 7th September, so get filming!

Eminem Talks About MTV Stunt & Robbery Rumors

June 3, 2009

eminem bruno

Three days ago at the MTV Movie Awards, Sacha Baron Cohen caused a firestorm as “Bruno” when he landed ass first on Eminem.
Many speculated for the days whether the stunt was staged or real, with everyone speaking except the man himself. Breaking his silence, Em spoke exclusively to Rap Radar about the entire “ordeal”. Read the rest of this entry ?

Eminem was part of the stunt that saw him come cheek-to-cheek with Sacha Baron Cohen’s bare bottom, according to MTV’s head comedy writer.
The rapper stormed off the MTV Movie Awards after the British comedian, dressed as Austrian fashion presenter Bruno, landed on Grim Shady’s face wearing just a thong and angel wing’s.

Now American writer Scott Aukerman has blogged that the incident was scripted.
He wrote on his blog: “Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”

Meanwhile, it’s emerged that Paris Hilton was first in line to play Bruno’s ‘victim’ – but refused point blank.
The socialite was approached by producer Mark Burnett but passed on the opportunity to have Bruno’s shaved legs wrapped around her head.

A source said: “Paris is quite happy she turned down the offer.”
